Principal's Message - In loving memory of our Teacher: Mr. Sal Marroquin

1/25/2021

Dear Mayfair Community,

We are deeply heartbroken to announce the passing of our Teacher, Soccer Coach, and Friend,  Sal Marroquin. He’s been with our school for 18 years teaching our students with special needs. He has coached our girls soccer team to CIF and league championships and he also coaches multiple club teams in the area. He is loved by our Monsoon community  - students, parents, coaches, teachers, staff and players.

We remember Sal’s dedication to his family, students and his soccer teams. His kind and gentle heart, easy-going nature and playful sense of humor will be remembered and missed by all.

Sal is survived by his wife - fellow Monsoon,Erin Brown, their baby Luka, two daughters, Olivia and Sofia, his sister and his parents.
