Teamwork Keeps Our Kids Safe

Thank you for working with us to ensure that our children are safe!

Pick-up and drop-off at school runs smoothly and safely when we all work together.

Please follow these guidelines to keep everyone safe.

  1. Please do not park and leave your car in the drive-thru.
  2. When dropping off or picking up students, stay in your car and pull all the way forward when space is available. This will allow for more parents to access the drive-thru and speed up the process.
  3. Please do not use the outside lane for picking up or dropping off students because it is dangerous for students to walk in between cars.
  4. Parents, please do not jay walk across Laurel or Clark. This is not a safe practice. Please use the cross walk.

When we all work together using the drive-thru appropriately, the process is efficient and safe.

ESL Parent and Community Classes at Ramona

After a hugely successful run last year, ESL classes for adults are about to begin again at Ramona Elementary on Monday, September 9th.

Classes will continue every Monday and Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in Room 43.

Classes cover listening, speaking, reading and writing in English. Participants will learn everyday English conversational skills for work, school and may other life situations. The class was well-attended last year and we hope to welcome back returning parents along with new participants. A flyer will be sent home as a reminder. If you have any questions about this exciting opportunity, please contact the school office at (562) 804-6532.

Ramona Elementary School continues to search for ways to further      promote learning and serve the needs of families and children.
