Principal Dr. Olga Rios
Welcome to a new school year Lindstrom Lions!
I am honored to begin my second year as your principal for the 2020-2021 school year. Esther Lindstrom Elementary School is a California Distinguished School and a wonderful place to grow and learn. I am eager to continue to work alongside teachers, support staff, and parents in the pursuit of academic excellence and the social-emotional well being of our students. I am also excited to continue the rich traditions of Lindstrom.
One of those is academic achievement. Preparing our students with 21st Century Skills is of paramount importance. We want all of our students to be on a path to college or career upon graduation. At Lindstrom, we offer a coherent and rigorous academic program. We believe in all of our students and in their potential to succeed. The highly qualified and experienced staff on our campus is committed to providing the best instructional program possible. We value teachers and trust in their ability to be the best professionals they can be.
Two other traditions are celebrating diversity and seeking to create a culture of learners who prioritize good character. We do this through our Character Counts program. A program which fosters a positive school climate. The six pillars in our character development program include citizenship, trustworthiness, respect, caring, fairness, and responsibility. This is also reflected in our motto for Lindy Lions: ROAR- Respect, Only Your best, Always Be Safe and Responsible.
Lastly, we have a tradition of dynamic parent involvement. We value our parents. We believe parents and guardians to be partners in the education of a child. We welcome and encourage parent participation at all levels such as PTA, School Site Council, ELAC, classroom volunteers, and invite you to attend the many events that happen throughout the school year.
As your principal, creating a positive school culture is a top priority. I look forward to working with the entire Lindstrom community to make this another amazing school year for everyone.
Proud to be part of the pride!
