Principal Dr. Olga Rios
Welcome to a new school year Lindstrom Lions!
I am honored to begin my fourth year as your principal for the 2022-2023 school year. Esther Lindstrom Elementary School is a wonderful place to grow and learn. I am eager to continue to work alongside teachers, support staff, and parents in the pursuit of academic excellence and the social-emotional well-being of our students. I am also excited to continue the rich traditions of Lindstrom.
One of those traditions is academic achievement. Preparing our students with 21st Century Skills is paramount. We want all of our students to be on a path to college or a career upon graduation. At Lindstrom, we offer a coherent and rigorous academic program. We believe in all of our students and in their potential to succeed. The highly qualified and experienced staff on our campus is committed to providing the best instructional program possible. We value teachers and trust in their ability to be the best professionals they can be.
Two other traditions are celebrating diversity and seeking to create a culture of learners who prioritize social and emotional well-being. We do this through our Second Step program. A program which fosters a positive school climate. The four components of this program are Growth Mindset, Emotion Regulation, Empathy/Kindness, and Problem Solving. The positive school culture is also reflected in our motto for our Lindy Lions: ROAR- Respect, Only Your best, Always Be Safe and Responsible.
Lastly, we have a tradition of dynamic parent involvement. We value our families. We believe parents and guardians to be partners in our student's education. We welcome and encourage parent participation at all levels, including PTA, School Site Council, ELAC, and classroom volunteers. We invite families to attend the many events that happen throughout the school year.
As your principal, creating a positive school culture and ensuring effective teaching in every classroom are my top priorities. I look forward to working with the entire Lindstrom community to make this another amazing school year for everyone.
Proud to be part of the pride!
