The Arts, Media and Entertainment industry sector is designed to support high school students interested in careers in California's thriving creative workforce. California clusters careers in the Arts, Media and Entertainment sector into four general pathways: Design, Visual, and Media Arts; Performing Arts; Production and Managerial Arts; and Game Design and Integration. In any of these pathway courses, students learn the skills and knowledge for creating and refining their work; these courses also promote teamwork, communication, creative thinking, and decision-making abilities - traits that are necessary to function successfully in the competitive and media-rich 21st century.
CalAPS currently offers one pathway in the Arts, Media, and Entertainment sector: Production and Managerial Arts.
