Hello Pyle Families,

This week three of our panthers were recognized by the Belflower CouncilPTA for their Reflections Entries. Congratulations to Marlie Harris, Addyson Meas, and Isiah Cube! Students received a goodie bag, a certificate, and were able to meet some of our BUSD Board Members. We are so grateful we were able to celebrate the talents of our students!

Next Friday, the Panther Pride Club invites students to join in the fun on our "Lucky to be a Panther Day." Students will still wear uniform pants but are welcome to wear green shirts and accessories to school. March 17, is also an early dismissal minimum day. School will be dismissed at 12:35 pm.

Ernie Pyle is a Title 1 school. Each year in the fall we host a title 1 meeting to share with families what this means. If you were not able to make it to this meeting the presentation is posted on ErniePyleElementary.org on the home page and you can access it by selecting the "Parent Meetings" button. Our Title 1 parent engagement policy is also located on out website under the parent's tab.  We have a spring parent survey and we need your help. Please click here to take this survey. The school will be working to receive prizes for parents collectively taking the survey. If we have 200 responses the school will receive a free dress day and if we have 300 parents take the survey the whole school will get a popsicle party. Please help us by sharing your thoughts on our survey so that we can use that data to plan and make Ernie Pyle the best place to learn for all of us.

Next week our PTA will be having a spirit wear sale that will continue until March 23.  If you are interested in purchasing any please be sure to send in the cash with your order before March 23.  Please note: Baseball caps are not permitted on campus during school hours but may be worn at special events.  Please click HERE for the flyer.
