    Hello Pyle Families,

    At Ernie Pyle, we have two parent advisory groups.

    School Site Council is an advisory group that monitors and advises the school about programs, budget, safety, and other important topics. If you would like to be a part of this group and have your name included on the ballot please email EPPrincipal@busd.k12.ca.us before Friday, September 10, 2021, with your name, your child's name, and a brief introduction of yourself. This is a great way to be involved at Ernie Pyle.

    Our second parent advisory group is ELAC. ELAC is an advisory group specifically for parents of English learners, but all parents are welcome to come to the meetings if you are interested in the programs that are provided for our students who are English Learners. Our first meeting of the year will be Thursday, September 16, 2021, at 8:30 am on campus in room 21. Please note, you will need to sign in at the meeting attesting that you are in good health and that you have not been in contact with anyone in the last 14 days who have had Covid 19 or symptoms of Covid 19.
