Meal Distribution
The Bellflower Unified School District is not authorized to provide meals and receive funding during extended school breaks under the Summer Food Service Programs or Seamless Summer Option. In the past, we tried to offer meals during the extended break (summer) and our families did not participate regardless of our efforts. Because of our low participation, it disqualified us for being a provider outside of the school day. In short, we are not approved to provide meals during extended breaks. Students may access meals at neighboring districts just as they do during summer breaks. Below is the current information we have on distribution from neighboring districts. Please check with each district website as information may change.
