Open to grades 9-12
This entry-level course looks at the design, programming, and social impact of video games. Approximately one half of this course is devoted to programming games, taking into account the importance of narrative, character development, and design principles. The class will look at the games in the context of society, including the use of games in informing, educating, and altering behavior. Additional google classroom assignments required.
