By February 1 of each year, every school in California is required by state law to publish a School Accountability Report Card (SARC).The SARC contains information about the condition and performance of each California public school.
Change in Student Attendance Calendar Dates
Parents, please be advised of the following school calendar changes:
- January 7, 2019 will be a Non-Student Day. Students will not attend school that day.
- April 12, 2019 will now be a day of student attendance
Ama Holmes is excited and honored be the new Principal of the Lindstrom Elementary. She is a passionate educator and lover of children and people. She has taught kindergarten, 3rd and 5th grade and has served as a Curriculum Specialist for a charter district in Los Angeles. During her time as a curriculum specialist, she provided guidance and professional development to teachers and worked with them in PLCs to set and achieve goals. She has also served as an Assistant Principal in the Temple City Unified School District and assisted staff in creating a school culture of community, excellence and high achievement. Most recently, she has had the opportunity of serving as Bellflower Unified School district’s Coordinator of Child Welfare and Attendance. Ama is excited to return to BUSD and eager to begin working with the Lindy Lions as they grow together to achieve greatness at Esther Lindstrom Elementary School. – Go Lions!
