The mission of Mayfair High/Middle School is to provide a climate where students participate in a comprehensive education that promotes lifelong learning, school pride, school spirit, and character building. The Bellflower Unified School District is proud of the many existing partnerships between the school and community organizations. In addition, parents are encouraged to be actively involved in the school program as volunteers or members of district and school committees, booster clubs, and councils. The School Site Council (SSC) provides significant opportunities for participation in decision-making regarding school policy, program, and the expenditure of funds at the site level.

SCHOOL STAFF

All staff met the credential requirements of the State of California. Many of our certificated staff have advanced degrees. In addition to regular classroom teachers, Bellflower High/Middle School's certificated staff also includes the principal, four assistant principals, four counselors, a speech and language therapist and a psychologist. The classified staff includes two health assistants, instructional aides, clerks, custodians, an ROP technician, secretaries, security, and a technology technician.
