The mission of Las Flores Elementary is to empower students to become life long learners and responsible citizens through a challenging curriculum in a positive and supportive atmosphere.  Students strive for academic excellence, develop a love of learning and build a foundation for success in a multicultural, technologically advanced society.  We have high expectations for all of our students and an outstanding instructional program is provided for them.  This is achieved through the implementation of district standards, and the delivery of a rigorous curriculum which is provided by our highly trained staff.  We also offer a comprehensive collection of prevention and intervention programs at Las Flores.  Additional support services are provided by a Speech and Language teacher, the guidance intern, and a community service worker.
