Bellflower Adult School programs are focused on vocational and work place preparation, academic diploma acquisition, GED® completion, English acquisition, and enrichment programs for older adults. The areas of concurrent enrollment that are allowed are those which supplement and not supplant opportunities for programs unavailable at the high schools.

Entry is through self-referral if the person is an adult and through a high school counselor if the student is enrolled in a district high school.

Program is designed to be an open door for adult students to re-enter an educational institution for purposes of a high school diploma or equivalency, proficiency skills or vocational training and preparation.

Exit from the various programs is totally a decision of the adult. There are limited fee-based programs that have a short-term focus as well as programs that are long-term and sequential, such as graduation or GED preparation, or a vocational preparation. Students will exit from these programs when they have accomplished their goals.
