    • Furlough Days  posted 3-16-12
The following dates have been identified as employee furlough days due to the lack of state funding for this budget year 2011-12. All district employees have suffered the consequences of the negative state budget by taking the following days as furlough (non-work days).  August 31, 2011 - February 3 - April 6 - April 16 - May 25 - June 21, 2012.  Classified employees were taxed with three additional days of furlough (non-work days) above those listed.

Thank you for visiting the Bellflower Unified School District website. As I begin my first year as the new Superintendent, I am pleased to welcome you to our school district. We are very proud of our students and their many accomplishments. We are leading the way with wonderful teachers, support staff and administration. The District is proud of the outstanding visual and performing arts, sports and vocational programs, and have an award-winning Continuation High School program.
